Last updated 1 November 2026. This page explains, in plain English, how to use AusStay sensibly. It is general information, not legal advice.
Information may be wrong or out of date
Accommodation details, prices and availability come from open data, partners and the public and may be out of date or wrong. Always confirm with the property or booking site before you book. We try to keep things accurate, but we cannot promise that anything on this site is complete, current or correct.
Check before you rely on it
Prices, availability and facilities are set by the property or booking site, not by us. Confirm everything with them before you pay. Bookings are made with the third party under their terms.
Voice search and driving
Voice search (🎤) and location features are for convenience only. Do not use this site while driving – pull over somewhere safe or ask a passenger. Always obey road rules and road signs.
Use at your own risk
You use this site and its information at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, cost or inconvenience that comes from using it or relying on it, including a place being closed, a service not being available, or details being wrong. Nothing here takes away rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
Other websites and businesses
We link to other websites, apps and businesses. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, prices or services. Some links may be affiliate or referral links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Content from users
Some listings, reviews and posts are added by members of the public. They are their own views, not ours. Please be kind, honest and family-friendly, and report anything wrong or unsafe.
Data credits
Some information comes from open data, such as OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), government open data and other public sources, used under their licences. Credits are shown on the pages that use them. All trademarks belong to their owners.
